When Spring colors meet golden hour, the results are a breathtaking maternity session
Spring hasn’t always been my favorite season for photography, especially with the occasional rain showers—yes, even in sunny California, we deal with some unpredictable weather! But over the past few years, I’ve found that spring has almost become my favorite time of year for maternity sessions. Why, you ask? The way the sun hits the rolling green hills is absolutely magical. It glows in a rich, golden-orange hue, you know, just like the deep yolk of a fresh farm egg.
For A and her husband, we captured their March maternity session as they awaited their third baby boy. We ventured out to the scenic outskirts of Folsom, California, where we discovered a vast landscape of rolling hills and patches of wildflowers. It was truly a photographer’s dream! My creative energy was flowing, and I’m excited to say that I’ve become a total convert to the beauty of spring maternity sessions.
